TKC is going to Le Mans! Welcome to the Event Registration to the 2025 TKC LeMans Tournament!!! Le Mans Indoor Karting is Virginia's home for indoor karting. This event will be an elimination style tournament similar to Formula 1's Qualifying format. Round 1 will eliminate up to 6 teams, round 2 will eliminate 3 teams and the final round will be a top 10 shootout to determine the winner of the first ever TKC Le Mans Tournament!

Schedule:

Track Arrival: 06:30 am

Driver Meeting: 07:00 am

Practice/qualifying: 07:30 am

Round 1: 07:45 am

Round 2: 08:55 am

Round 3: 09:50 am

Round 4: 10:30 am

Podium Celebration: 11:15 pm

Price:

Early Pre-Registration Entry: $350

Late Registration Entry: $400 (starts 7 days 11:50pm prior to event date)

Format:

Qualifying (5min): A second green flag will indicate the end of Practice and the beginning of qualifying.

Round 1 (60min): All teams will take the grid on the Mega-Track circuit

Round 2 (45min): The top 12 teams will battle it out to make it to the final shootout round

LCQ (10min): All eliminated teams will race in one final shootout to determine which team will make the top 10 Final shootout

Round 3 (30min): The top 9 teams from round 2 + the LCQ winner will race for the final standings

Pit Stops:

The pits lane will be open until 5 minutes before the end of the round. Please see the following list for required pit stops in each round and the pit lane rules

Round 1: 4 pit stops required

Round 2: 3 pit stops required

LCQ: no pit stops required

Round 3: 3 pit stops required

Only 2 karts allowed in pit boxes at one time. If a driver puts while the pit boxes are full, they must wait until 1 kart leaves. Pit stops are not timed but MUST be performed safely. Drivers may not interfere with traffic when exiting the pit lane. Any pit lane violations will be a minimum 20 second penalty.

Pit procedure:

Driver entering pit box must come to a safe and complete stop at the red flags. Driver must then ROLL the kart forward to the pit box marshall. The driver may then unbuckle and exit the kart. The 2nd driver may then enter the kart and buckle their seat belts. AFTER the seat belts are buckled, the driver may exit the pit lane, watching for oncoming traffic. If a pit stop is done without a driver change, the driver must exit the kart, stand next to the kart without touching it for a brief moment before re-entering the kart.

Teams:

Each team must consist of between 1-3 drivers. Team names must be appropriate.

Weight:

All drivers will be weighed to a minimum of 200lbs. There is a 3lb grace tolerance. The penalty for failing the weight inspection is +5 seconds for every pound underweight (including the grace tolerance). Weight ballasts will be provided

Karts:

Go-karts used will be rental karts with 270cc Honda motors and wrap around bumpers
